Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear PoresSome pores are so small that getting anything out of them is an impossible task. I have this problem on my nose. Despite immaculate hygiene, blackheads are still there when I look closely. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores seems to be doing something, as evidenced by a warming/tingling sensation. Perhaps it clears larger or deeper pores than the ones on my nose. Despite failing to clear my tenacious blackheads, it did leave my skin softer.

There are a lot of positive reviews on Origins Clear Improvement. If you are suffering from acne, this product may be able to help. Compared to other remedies, it can’t be considered expensive, either.

Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment

Sunday Riley Good Genes TreatmentSunday Riley Good Genes Treatment can be used as either a serum or mask. I have not tried it as a mask, but I can tell you about its efficacy as a serum.

Good Genes Treatment is a winter product. It is very moisturizing, which may cause oily skin during warmer and humid times of the year. It smooths and plumps, although it did nothing to improve blemishes and unevenness in tone. It didn’t add any radiance to my face, either. Again, I still prefer Murad’s Advanced Active Radiance Serum or Philosophy’s Time in a Bottle.

From my preference for these two, it seems that my skin likes vitamin C, which Good Genes does not contain. However, your skin may be pining for other ingredients and Good Genes may deliver. I recommend this serum for people with dry skin.

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin CorrectorUnlike Lancome’s Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate, Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector noticeably improved the condition of the skin. It is not a miracle product, but it smooths and adds a bit of glow. I still prefer Murad’s Advanced Active Radiance Serum and Philosophy’s Time in a Bottle as I find them more effective and results are noticeable faster, and they are cheaper, too.

Different skin will react differently to different products. For me, Lancome’s skin care lines have yet to be as effective as their makeup.

Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate

Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating ConcentrateLancome’s Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate turned out to be an absolute disappointment for me. I did not experience any changes in my skin at all. It didn’t smooth, it didn’t brighten, it didn’t even skin tone. Philosophy’s Time in a Bottle and Murad’s Advanced Active Radiance Serum are much more worthy of their price.

Please keep in mind that my skin is not mature, and it seems like Advanced Genifique was designed for older people. I have seen many reviews praising the efficacy of Lancome’s Concentrate. For me, it did nothing. Perhaps I will try it out when I am older.

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin Fusion Foundation SPF 20 – 12 Rose Clair

Guerlain Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin Fusion Foundation SPF 20 - 12 Rose ClairAfter being satisfied with the performance of Make Up For Ever’s HD Invisible Cover Foundation, I was curious as to what such a high class house as Guerlain can offer. The higher quality is noticeable from first application (and reflected in the price). The foundation seems to sink in and feels like a second skin: it’s smooth, long-lasting, and invisible, provided the right shade is chosen. The silky feel of it is reminiscent of indulging in a silicone cream.

I use foundation especially around my eye area to cover darkness because it turns out smoother than concealer. When blended well, it is absolutely invisible. Even though MUFF’s foundation was already pretty good, it did deposit somewhat in the tiny skin folds of the lower eyelid close to the lash line. This wasn’t a problem to begin with because it was easily smoothed out. Lingerie de Peau deposits even less. A fully dressed face lasted me 12 hours without any touch-ups, excluding the lower eyelid.

In terms of coverage, Guerlain’s foundation is less than MUFF’s, at about medium. Of course, it can be made sheer with the Beautyblender. There are also less colour options. My skin contains a pink hue, which 12 Rose Clair mimics perfectly. The colours currently offered by Guerlain in its Lingerie de Peau Invisible Skin Fusion line do not capture redder shades, catering more towards the beige and yellow spectra. I hope Guerlain rectifies this eventually because the foundation is really very good.
